Dear Business Owner,

We are reaching out to you today to help support the Eddie Travis 4 "Memorial Hockey Skills Competition.  We are looking for donations of gift cards, gift baskets, or monetary donations.

Eddie Travis IV is the Frontier High School Senior who was killed in a car accident in West Seneca on June 15, 2019 one week before graduation. Eddie and his girlfriend Lizzy were on their way to volunteer at the James Metz 5K Memorial Run in Lancaster, they were to set up tables and hand out water bottles to the runners. He was volunteering for school credit in his government class. Lizzy was seriously injured in the accident. She has a way to go healing emotionally & physically.

This Event was created by the Travis & Rybarczyk Family.

Eddie has been on the ice since the age of 6. We enrolled him in the Learn to Skate Program at Holiday Twin Rinks. In 2007, he started playing hockey with the Hamburg Hawks & Holiday Twin Rinks ( Dip N Dots).

In March 2019, Eddie's team The Southtown Stars played in the DAVID BIGELOW MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT and won the championship 12-3. This was the last game Eddie played.

Eddie Said, "Playing Hockey has taught me many things; Respect, Courage, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, & Trust, and how to make friends. But most of all it has taught me that no matter what the score board says, you are still part of a team. You win as a team, you lose as a team. Eddie said, "To him that's what is important- Being part of a team means family.

In the Spirit of Eddie's words, we set up this "Memorial Hockey Skills Competition" to Honor Eddie and his love for Hockey!

The 1st Annual "Hockey Skills Competition" Memorial Event to Honor Eddie Travis IV, is a way for kids to have the opportunity to learn skills needed to play hockey. As a competition it is for kids to try their best while being scored on various skill stations. Prizes will be awarded to kids the day of the event.

All Money raised for this Memorial Event will go into the EDDIETRAVIS4MEMORIALFUND.

To Honor Eddie's Love For The Game of Hockey, the Families of Eddie & Lizzy will choose to sponsor selected families in the 2020-21 hockey season.

We recognize your value to our community and would be honored to have you as partner in raising fund for the chance to give kids fun through the experience of playing hockey.

Please provide your Company's Logo for our website and Facebook Memorial Page.
